Don't have my own computer up on the net so no pic's yet. Got to Ft. Benning yesterday, it's the south and it's hot and sticky. It will only be for a week or so, then the dry heat. I'll see if I can get some good pic's before I leave and keep updating you. Thanks for following!

I love the South for lots of reasons, but not the hot & sticky part! I recall going from the air conditioned house to the AC car to the AC store...and so on. Although the humidity is wonderfully healthy for the hair and skin, I'll take the high desert any day. Hope you see a few fireflies and remember our fun times in Texas! We are missing you.

News on up coming surgery on repair the hiatal hernia on the 23rd of July at Mt. View Hospital in Madras. Dr. Thomas Scherer and another Dr. from Prineville Hospital, and Keith Long, PA-C will with me of all this and I will be in the hospital soon far one night or more if needed. I will keep you inform soon. Mike, the last time in was Georgia at the airport from Portland airport to Fort Jackson South Carolina in 8-82 to 9-82 I was part of the OR Nt'l Army Guard at Tigard Unit. But,I was got a Medical discharge of my left knee. There is one thing to say I feel honor to try to serve the Nt'l Guard and proud and always well be part of my life. God Bless all our Troops in the world and Oregon. To all the ones loves and misses Mike and Captain have a safe 4th of July in new President in office and in America.
