The top picture is of the queen's palace, out front is a bone yard of old rusting materials.
Below is a Russian BMP. It is one of many old Russian pieces
of equipment left there when they pulled out.
Other things were helicopter, and old T34 tanks, WWII era.

Great picture of the Queen's palace. Do you know what happened to the Afghan royals after the government was established? It's incredible that the Russians just left their equipment there - must be pretty interesting to see!
